Hubby ordered printer from them last Tuesday, delivery was supposed to be 3 days. This morning it was still showing as "pending" on the tracking part of their site so he rang them up. HALF AN HOUR of listening to inane music and a stupid woman's recorded voice on an 0870 number and finally somebody told him that the warehouse had been relocating and that the printer would be dispatched either today or tomorrow.
Later this afternoon he received an email telling him that they would reimburse him for his cancelled order
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I've been having a nightmare with theior online photo processing service too - they claim that my order hasn't gone through, though this hasn't prevented them from charging the full amount to my credit card.
And they don't have a UK geographical number that you can use, because the 0870 number is redirected to France, apparently.

I have unfortunately used Mypixmania for photos. I would just like to say that their customer services are non-existent. I sent three letters to the company including their managing director and never received a acknowledgement or reply. There were a number of issues with the company, which is based in Paris. Firstly, when you register they will send your "secure" login details via clear text in an email, making it possible for anyone to see: this contravenes privacy laws. There are programming issues with their website including the purchase phase which leaves some photos with a frame and others without, if selected form different albums. At checkout phase I received an error that "credit card company not recognised" when in fact you select the company from a drop down box, then the transaction froze completely, I am just thankful I was not charged twice. Their photo albums run errors on certain characters such as "&" and can never be renamed. Their fabled "72" hour to your door delivery took 10 working days to complete and to make matters worse I received an email from them two weeks after receiving my original order saying that I never ordered prints through them. I would just like to advise everyone not to use this group of companies as you cannot utilise trading standards and there is virtually no legal recourse available to you when things go wrong. Best avoided.0

Does anyone know if these are related to Pixdiscount.co.uk?0

Not as far as I'm aware - but if they are based in Paris then they may well be.0

I tried to buy a camera through them via the internet. I had an email the next day saying that i had to post them proof of my address. Rather defeating the purpose of getting the item quickly without travelling all over the place to find it.
I went to boots online and got it promptly, at a cheaper price without the hassle. I'd give them a miss.0 -
wish I'd seen this thread before I ordered....still waiting a week later for the 72 hour delivery. Fortunately it was their free 30 first order deal...only cost me the P&P ...just shows there is nothing free!x x x0

after a complaint email...photos finally showed up 16th nov...they were ordered on the 5th. Not quite the 72 hours they promised! The email claimed they were posted on the 8th, something I couldnt confirm because there was no markings on the packaging to suggest posting date. Photos not bad quality....but first and last order!x x x0

Has anyone has any dealings with this company's Pixmania-Pro branch ?? as the prices seem the cheapest i have been able to locate by far ..but you seem to need a vat registered number to buy from them >?? <0

If I were you, and after reading this thread, I'd give any company with "pixmania" in its name a wide berth!0

If you're buying hardware, computer parts, gadgets, etc from Pixmania, you should be aware that almost every piece of hardware they sell is grey-import. That's why the price is so low. They are simply importing from the manufacturers in the far east, adding 20-50% to the price, then selling it to consumers.
What I mean is... their products almost never come with a UK warranty. If something goes wrong, you'll be up a creek without a paddle OR a canoe - especially as their support is extremely poor. The company is just a handful of people - they're a lot, lot smaller than they appear. In many cases, when buying from Pixmania, you won't even get an English manual or a UK plug.
You may as well buy from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan (etc) yourself, there's no need to give these jokers a cut. The same thing goes for virtually all of the "our username is a fancy logo" sellers on Amazon's Marketplace.
The likes of Amazon.co.uk (when buying direct from Amazon, not from their marketplace sellers), Play.com, Comet, etc. are also middle men doing the exact same thing... but they sell only UK stock with real UK warranties.0
