URGENT REMINDER all 3 customers on old plans have until midnight tonight to CANCEL
Options
All discontinued priceplans that are billed by the second WILL NO LONGER be billed by the second for the first minute & itemised billing is now £1 from 1/7/08
this follows the 1 minute rule which many customers on MnM left Oct/Nov ended up leaving 3
3 should have sent letters to everyone not just VTT700 customers as the June 08 3guide states this is applicable to all non MnM plans in point 15 of the 3 guide, so most of us never got 30 days notice of changes I have Directtalker 1000 & Videotalk 500 & never recieved a word of change of T&C surrounding itemised billing or 1 minute rule & that when I signed up my T&C never said anything about this being a promotion as sly3 state in the lastest 3 guide dated June 08
ASAP call 3 have them place a note on your a/c per you were never informed as per your T&C with 30 days notice & also the change is not effective because you were never notified of the change & you would like to cancel on this grounds & the grounds you will not accept the change and 3 has invalidated thier own T&C of your whole contract
I called 3 cancellations its closed but explained to nice woman my T&C were not that this was a promotion till 30/6/08 & itemised billing I will not pay for as it was free & I had no 30 day change of T&C in regards to changing ( " use internet to download " - TELL them only internet I have is on my 3 handset )me to billed IB, she noted cancellation & her name I have written down, call cancellations tommorrow to get PAC
its underhand & unacceptable what 3 has done

section 10.1 subsection D
infact failure to give you 30 days notice on any contract/upgrade taken before the end of May 2008 on both the itemised billing & per second for your first minute is a change in T&C not notified to you & is a breach of the 30 day rule of informing you of the change of T&C, 3 cant enforce the changes & invalidated thier own T&C of your contract by not writing to you all if your non MnM contract started before 1/6/08
this promotional till 30/6/08 that 3 speak of came into force in June when the new updated 3 guide was produced, all customers SHOULD have got a letter that were on old/discontinued priceplans before JuneSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
read 3 guide for June 2008, all customers should have had 30 days notice before 1/6/08 on:
1) removal per second billing for first minute
2) itemised billing charge of £1 which was free ( this includes all MnM customers )
breach 1
Did all you MnM customers get informed of the £1 " detrimental change " of free itemised billing ? with 30 days notice to accept T&C/cancel if you did not accept this change on 1/7/08 ?
breach 2
Did all non VT700 cusstomers on old priceplans get a 30 day notice to accept T&C/cancel if you did not accept this
" detrimental change " of your first minute of any call NOT being billed per second ?
breach 3
Failure to notify you of both/either of these changes is a breach of 3's own T&C/UK law and your 3 contract T&C become uninforcableSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
I'm going to strangle whichever Indian twit I get next then
A week ago I chose to pay the final month remaining on my contract to get shot of these jokers (My issues culminated in my phone being locked in a store under refurbishment for well over a week; No-one could care less or apologise), and if I can help it, I'm not paying this.
No letters of any description (Talk & Text 500).

Hi all
I'm on Talk and Text 600 from July 07 and called cancellations this morning. The agent checked with her Manager several times and confirmed that I will NOT be charged for itemised billing and will NOT lose the per second billing for the first minute of any calls. In addition she confirmed I have had no change of terms communications and should not have as I am not on an affected tarif.
I was on the phone for a good 20 mins and both she and her Manager were 100% confident that this was correct. She was very clear that if anything were to change I could refer back to our discussion and they could track her down from her name, time and date of the call.
I'll wait and see what my next bill is like ;0)
Cheers for the heads up though.

i rang up and got the same response apparently its only the 750 price plan that is affected. I have asked them where my details are on the website to prove otherwise and they cannot give me an answer to this.0
