Transferring Stocks & Cash Isa's query..

I have a varied mix of Cash and Stocks Isa's that I have accumulated over the past 5 yrs and would now like to sort them all into one or two!
I stupidly followed advise from Abbey and Yorkshire Bank and just used mine & partners full allowance each year to take out their best products.(We also invested in Jupiter and Invesco funds too, which have performed better but could still possibly improve).
I now wish to use this years Cash Isa allowance and also transfer previous years poor performers into the same. (I have 20k in savings (of which I will take out this years allowances) & about 30k in the various Isa's)
Firstly - do the old Isa's have to stay under the same wrapper - ie: cash or stocks (I'm sure this is a daft question and have just presumed they do!) & whats the procedure for transferring?
Secondly -Where's the best Cash Isa & Stocks Isa's that perform well and are straight forward to transfer in and out of ?(Sorry if the answers are on here but the Threads are so long & seem to change daily that I'd appreciate any current advise).
Thanks in advance!

You didnt invest in Jupiter and Invesco. They are fund houses who offer a range of funds. You invested into their funds. They have some excellent funds and some not so good ones.I now wish to use this years Cash Isa allowance and also transfer previous years poor performers into the same.
You cant. stocks and share ISAs have to stay as stocks and share ISAs.Secondly -Where's the best Stocks Isa's that perform well and are straight forward to transfer in and out of ?
All ISAs are easy to transfer. No-one can say which is best though as that requires knowing the future. You can eliminate quite a lot though and make sure the spread matches you attitude to risk. You also need to make sure that you understand that funds that you may class as under performers may not be and its just because that sector had a down turn (which most have over the last 12-18 months).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Apologies - it should have read Invesco and Jupiter Funds (now edited).
So I'm still confused. Can I transfer into different stocks and shares Isa's this year or is it only Cash Isa's that take transfers?
What are my options with the underperforming Stocks Isa's?
Thanks again for any advice.0 -

You can transfer cash ISAs to other cash ISAs or stocks and share ISAs.
You can transfer S&S ISAs to other S&S ISas.
Both are very simple transactions (although I do it by the bucketload so I guess I would say its easy!).What are my options with the underperforming Stocks Isa's?
Lots. It really depends on how you want to go about it.
You can either go DIY and move them yourself to another fund supermarket. Its the cheapest option but you take on responsbility for doing the work and picking the investments. Or you can get an IFA to do it for you. The IFA will pick the funds after discussing your risk proifle and hopefully give you a bit of information to help you understand investments more. The choice is yours on that front. Thanks again for any advice.
Just for compliance reasons, nothing on this board is advice. You act on posts at your own risk. There is no FOS protection. So, we dont call it advice but discussion.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. You can transfer the S&S ISA(s) to any other S&S ISA provider. Hargreaves Lansdown is often a competitive choice and will let you continue to hold the Invesco Perpetual and Jupiter funds that you already hold, if you wish.
If you want funds with performance closer to cash you could usefully consider BlackRock UK Absolute Alpha and
CF Arch Cru Investment Portfolio. While there are no performance guarantees, both have so far been very stable and predictable while comfortably beating cash savings accounts. They are reasonable choices for turbulent times but will probably under-perform more traditional choices in good and boom times.
If you say which funds you hold and how long you've had them for it'll be possible to say more about the reasons for their performance.0
