Help wanted choosing a present for a 9 year old boy

I need to buy my cousin a present but don't know what to get. I'd like to get something educational & fun. Any ideas?

my nine year old is in to really gruesome stuff - like the weird horrible science stuff you can get with gory body parts and strange experiments - cool!! So anything bordering on bad taste usually does the trick with this age group.
