hammy was a bit slow today, thought she would just beat me.
The trouble with the counting is how fast do you count. If you count a bit slower than me, you might get away with only counting to 4. Sometimes I must count a bit quicker as I do still tilt now and then but my biggest problem is when I try to type fast, I catch the wrong key.
:rotfl: Arrrghhhhh! Two days in a row I have typed badly
I'm not even in the top 10 today although the 2 glasses of wine this evening probably didn't help

[FONT=rial,]Congratulations selrach1947
You came first in The First Post World's Fastest Crossword number 584.
Your winning time was a very impressive 3.051 seconds.
You may be interested to know that the slowest time was 13.062 seconds.
So why not on the leader board

Tilt for me boo hoo. The people on the leaderboard today have very long times lolIf at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.

After chasing First Post again I have now had this further reply from Harry Underwood:-
Robert,
Sorry that nobody got back to you the previous time.
We can’t give you out details of the previous prize winners. The competition isn’t a con.
All the best,
Harry.

If you came first, have you won??42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot:hello: Good Luck everyone !:hello:0 -
If you came first, have you won??
No, your position on the leader board has nothing to do with winning. The T&C's say that anyone making a correct entry will be entered into a draw regardless of the speed of entry. The leader board is only for fun.
With the number of MSE'rs entering this and with a fairly low number of entrants overall, I find it hard to believe that someone from MSE hasn't won yet and if they won't publish a winners list how can we know that they are actually awarding any prizes at all.0 -
i reckon this is one for the isp, we have played this religiously for months and one of us would def have won by now, somedays only 8 enter, and they are all msers.xxx Im gonna email mister bigshot xxx#JusticeForGrenfell0
