If you really want to get a quick time and avoid tilting, why not practice with a previous days comp "just for fun". You need a complete second to pass before you start typing to avoid tilting. I count 1 to 5 quite quickly then start but still manage to tilt now and then.
But as hammy says, does it mean much.
  • Thanks Bob for the updates.... it will be interesting to hear what is said ...

    It's fun, though!

    I didn't tilt today, but I'm No 5.

The rest of you did much better. Hammy especially.

Managed not to Tilt today. Followed your tip of counting to 5, Bob.

    You're 1st at the moment.

Yes, got it right "first time" :rotfl:
hammy was a bit slow today, thought she would just beat me.
The trouble with the counting is how fast do you count. If you count a bit slower than me, you might get away with only counting to 4. Sometimes I must count a bit quicker as I do still tilt now and then but my biggest problem is when I try to type fast, I catch the wrong key.

No, you're not on the board at all. Strange.

I started well, then (quite why I don't know) I stopped and thought about it for a couple of seconds.

    I'm in 5th place.
