Unfortunately Pinecone don't do referrals. You have to look out for their banners.

    Good luck
  • Out of interest, how long does it take before Pinecone officially accept people as members? 'Cos I filled out my details through one of their banners a while ago and I haven't heard anything back. Do they even bother notifying you if you're not what they want?

Occasionally Pinecone will email existing members and ask you to pass the email on if you know someone in a certain demographic. From what I understand though (and I may be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time!) we aren't allowed to do this through MSE.
  • I had a survey come to me from Valued Opinions, it was regarding technical and business outsourcing (I work in IT). I think I got £2 for it, and they asked if they could possibly telephone me in the future for a more indepth interview, well I said yes, and I had a call today from a lady who asked me questions for about 20 mins and then said I was getting £75 for the interview, and where would I like the cheque to be sent. She also said that they would be emailing me two further surveys, each of which would be worth £25 - so that's a total of £127 for 3 surveys and a telephone interview. I'm hoping for lots more of those, but I'm not holding my breath!

I always tick no when it asks if they can call me, if I knew they paid out that sort of money I would have ticked yes lol
