Strangely I did a Harris survey yesterday but only got an entry into the draw - like you I have always had the 30 points. Hope they are not stopping the 30 points.
I don't ever remember getting 10 points from Ipsos for non-qualify. Is Ipsos Access a different link?
I started a Harris survey today, I didn't qualify and the end message stated draw entry but no mention of the 30 points, however, I logged into my account with them and the 30 points were there so hopefully they are not stopping the 30 points when you don't qualify0 -

I have received a reply to my query:-
"Thank you for contacting us. We are experimenting with some new polling methods, which frequently include respondents who are not members of our panel. For this reason, the end pages may not mention HIpoints, though HIpoints are still being credited to our members' accounts. We are currently developing some new invitations and a new section in our FAQs to communicate these changes to our members.
We may now offer several survey opportunities at once; should the respondent not qualify to participate in the first survey, another may be presented.
Our invitations now indicate that "up to 100" HIpoints will be offered (depending on the particular survey path taken) or “150 HIpoints if you qualify.” If you were informed that you were not qualified, you were not eligible to complete the full-length version of the survey. You will receive 30 HIpoints as a courtesy for your willingness to participate, along with an entry into the sweepstakes"
Found the last sentence a little ambiguous but your comments sounds as though the 30 points will continue.
I still have a problem as although I can log in to my account I cannot find my balance on there. Just don't know what has happened!0 -

I always had the 30 points message but yesterday didn't but they were there in my HI points account.
I need around 600 more points to get a £10 e-Amazon or around 1500 to get £25. It's going to be a long road to get to either tier @ 30 points rate!!!!!
Sometimes the Harris surveys would appear via Toluna!!!0 -
Just spent about 30 mins on a GTM survey about glasses, watched 3 videos, commented several times, put things in boxes, gave away personal details and then....SCREENED OUT!!
Just a warning and if anyone does try this survey and experiences the same thing, please complain to GTM via the website.0 -
I've been using MySurvey (aka Lightspeed, I think) since the New Year. So far had £10 in Amazon voucher and £20 has just been ordered. Very often don't qualify for surveys. Normally get about 5 or 6 a week, which I'll qualify for about 2 or 3, none on a bad week, 6 on a good week. Generally the money is fairly slow, normal 25 minute survey is usually around 80 points (550 points for £5 voucher) but yesterday I got a two part survey all about drinking habits. First part took 50 minutes and gave 500 points. (thats basically minimum wage!) but second part which requires additional qualification was worth 1700 points. So thats £20 voucher for 2 hours 'work'. This survey was particularly boring though, but I've nothing better to do often. Had to ascribe lots of personal qualities to drinks manufacturers. And describe my last 24 hours of drinking in minute detail. (What drink, where, how much, what container it was bought/drunk in, why I drunk it, how it made me feel, etc etc)
However, occassionally the surveys are quite interesting, for example a 20 minute job commenting on new pre-production TV adverts. THe worst questions are tick boxes, or tick charts, the best are type-able boxes where you just say what you think. Definitely recommend it to housespouses, retired computer savvy, school/college students, unemployed. Brilliant.0 -
Many thanks for this thread, i am an avid surveyor when i can and thought i would register with valued opinions last night, low and behold i was already registered and had £10.50 in my account, i have not had a survey from them in 2+ years, so converted to a £10 amazon voucher and will deregister i think!!!Owner of a cute cottage in the North York Moors :j0 -
