i have been a member for 2 years now!...and now my acct was deactivated??
just got this email, and it sounded so rude??
Dear xxx
Your account has been deactivated following several quality checks that we have run in our database, to verify the consistency and accuracy of panellist profiles. We run such quality checks regularly, to ensure that our panel is representative of the population targeted in our surveys and thus our survey results are relevant and applicable for our clients. Unfortunately, the account cannot be reactivated in these circumstances.
Please note that, according to our terms and conditions that you agreed to when you joined our panel, we reserve the right to cancel a panellist's membership without having warned him/her in advance or having to justify the decision afterwards.
Thank you for your participation to our surveys so far and for your understanding.
Kind regards
Ipsos Support Team
ergghhhh:mad::mad:
??
i replied to them saying that i have been an old member and i dont find any reason to deactivating the account,I have also been a vip member recently as received in my email from you,i constantly been doing your survey and looking at your answer i am so disappointed and upset with this system of yours.
worst and awful customer service and would write back in letter to their headoffice, will nevr recommend or use theri survey sites again in life!!...
I had this happen to me. They closed my account for the same reason. I then got lots of emails/surveys for some other person so I think their system got really screwed up. They didn't even have the courtesy to reply to my emails about their appalling customer service.0 -

I think the above person (whom you quoted) did infact get their account reactivated- correct me if I am wrong original OP! if this happened to you, it is worth challenging them on it and trying to work things out- its not fair for them to cut your account if you have played your part and answered all the surveys honestly, then it has to be their part to pay up- fairs fair!
Be good to know how you get on skipton0 -

i think valued opinions is the best as you do get vouchers on a regular basis and feel like its worth your time. But i do also do ipsos and one poll.

Can someone enlighten me as to what you do in tesco home panel? Is it just product reviews and if so what sort of products? Im sure my mum would be interested in doing these....

Yup it is 'just' product reviews. You get to test many things- some people report tesing clothes, halloween costumes for their children, I have tested surface cleaner, fabric wash, toilet bleach...
What happens with the vast majority of them is you get two things to test which are the same product, but obviously a different forumla. The stuff is repackaged and sent out so you wouldn't know what the original brand was and so you can give an honest answer. You would get just enough for the product testing time- so I got two surface cleaners each with 1/3 of a carton filled- did have more then enough for the two weeks as I have a tiny home! but for others, its just enough.
Good to do if your like me and like to push things to their extreme and see how clean for example they can make things...0 -

I have heard others mention pinecone does do testings, but I have never had any myself
For joining, I think its about looking for a banner with the click here link on other websites, or a matter of emailing them- not sure tbh, I was always under the impression they are not recruting atm but someone corrected me on that a few months ago- they seem to chop and change when they recruit new members alot!0 -

Cheers for that Jennie.
My mum loves it when she gets stuff to test having had stuff like washing powder from Pinecone before. Now to find somewhere to sign her up

The GFK people also do surveys that pay in points, not in competitions and if you aren't a member, I really recommend you join up! Its 5 points plus per survey- even if you don't qualify and each point is equal to 5 U.S cents which they can and do transfer into ££. After 1000 you can ask for a cheque, and it arrives in £ rather then $. Its easy to follow and non intrusive, they just email you when a survey is there for you.
whats the name of this part of their polls? and how do you join please0
