Anyone else had an email today from OpinionWorld with a survey offering points? If so can anyone point me at the part of the site explaining the points rewards as its the first I've seen of it!

Login to opinion world using our login details, whichare included in every email they send you.

Click on "My account" - "Claim Your Rewards", and then you'll see a page that lists your points total.

Basically they've scrapped the whole "pay per survey", and now you need to earn points, much like other survey sites.

You need to reach 1000 points to get a paypal cashout of £10. *Minimum Needed is 1000 Points*

Its a new system they've implemented. They've sent out a few emails concerning the changes, and i think they're for the best.

The reason being that many have said they don't get paid by OW, well from now on all you need to do is fill in the surveys that offer points, and just wait until you get that 1000 points, then redeem them. So much easier than attempting to deal with 10 different payments.

So far since the points implementation, i've had 3 surveys from the, totalling 300 points, so its going quite well.

How odd, I've had nothing to explain the change and over the last few days 5 or 6 £1 surveys, I even logged in the other day and couldnt see anything about it all.

I remember the original email saying they were planning to implement a points system but nothing more about it until today.

I completely agree though the changes will make them much easier to deal with!

I get that too- it is annoying, but then I hardly seem to qualify for any these days :(

I thought of emailing to have a moan but I would probably enter all the same anyway as I am trying to get points up with the few surveys I am applicable for! If you do decide to email them, please let us know what if anything they say.

***Points are earned from participating in surveys or discussions through forums and discussion groups held online. Points will be awarded based on the length or time and effort required. In average, you will receive 10 points for being screened out, and 150 points for completing a survey. For some surveys you’ll be entered into prize draws, as opposed to offering reward points.***

for kad1 and jenniewb - the above is from the FAQ's on Ipsos - hth ;)

Nielsen consumer panel, are advertising for the shop and scan thing again.

    www.Cheapdealsuk.net has them listed

    on this page.

    http://cheapdealsuk.net/survey.aspx

I've been doing it about 6 months. not a brilliant earner, but easy. Just scan your shopping with the machine they supply. About £120 a year.

I have just joined :D They are sending my scanner to me in the next few days :T

Just wondering if it is worth it? Any input would be appreciated :j

Can anyone please input the direct web address for this company - I can't see the link on the page - which is a common problem apparently.

I'd quite like to sign up for this - many thanks

I received my first £50.00 cheque from YouGov last month, took just under 3 years to get there

My balance is currently £3.00 so another long wait for the next cheque I expect, hope its not 3 years again though !
