Evening all
Last came in on page 11 on Tuesday morning so no flying or reading since (apart from a few posts at work this morning) as had the mother of all headaches which has now turned into a stinker of a cold. Will catch up with you all later but just wanted to have a laugh with pigpen as I picture her cleaning her dear hubbys blister with alcohol :rotfl:  :rotfl: . That will sting something wicked and is not a nice as a reward for a fabulous run :rotfl:. A blister is caused by heat or friction (so is effectively a friction burn) and the body releasese serum to cool it. This is contained in the blister and will be reabsorbed into the body. The burnt skin will die and new skin is formed underneath. If however the blister bursts there is a real risk of infection so the best thing to do is keep it covered with a sterile dressing (lint free)until it has healed completely. Give him a hug he did a good job :T
Gonna go do some updating finances then catch up some more.

Can I say a BIG hello to all of you!
My house has been a real state since, well, forever, but I found this thread!
I followed last weeks list and my house looks shiny and new! I'm really pleased.
I followed last weeks so I could go mad at it and get to start next weeks feeling like I had achieved something.
Thank You all so much for spurring me on (although I've been a lurker)

Back from open evening.
I've been in a foul mood all day for no reason. DS3 has been difficult for days now so he has been put straight to bed and told not to dare get out - I don't think he will.
I still need to clear up from dinner. Poor OH there is a massive problems on the trains so he is still in London not knowing when there will be a train and when he does get one it won't be to our town so he'll have to get a bus back from either north or south of us depending on where he can get a train to.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Well I read through all the posts and caugh tup with you all
lil-me well done
mudbath good decision re 40th
tiamai-d hope you're better
everyone else "hello"
feel really low today cos realised just how bad the accounts are. Over overdraft limit on current account and on visa. Horrible shock.
Waiting for a discrimination tribunal so hopefully it goes in my favour and the mess that's built up since they stopped paying me can be sorted. Right now it feels so depressing though and the kids have been difficult - maybe I've been ignoring them too much due to being distracted trying to earn money etc
No flying done whatsoever. Just the WM. Hubby's out there now doing the DW.

Evening
Lil_me - well done on passing your assignment. Don't get disheartened you have a heck of a lot on so a pass is fantastic.
Tia - hope you are feeling better soon.
Sinderella - hugs and I hope things improve soon.
Well I have nearly lost my voice after shouting at DS swimming gala all afternoon. He came second in his individual race and did really well in all his relays. Overall the school came first which they were all pleased about. He is absolutely shattered now lol.
Hope everyone has a good evening.0
