egg isa interest

Stupid question but here we go....My egg isa has just paid interest back into the egg isa account. Am I right in assuming that tax IS payable on the interest and I should move it out of the account or have I got it all horribly wrong:D
Planning on moving the isa's elsewhere but then realised I haven't got my head round what happens to the interest.
Thanks for help.

You have it horribly wrong. Interest made is also tax free so keep it in ISA.0
