Will I cause any damage to my boiler if I do this?

morning to you all
I have a Glow-Worm Ultra Com 30cxi boiler.
It has 4 settings h/w only, h/w & c/h, timed and off.
Can I turn the boiler to the off setting while someone is filling the bath banging on the door makes no difference so a more direct appoach is needed.
i've noticed that the pressure bar is flicking from 1.4 to 1.3 is this normally for now i've put it back on to hot water only.

Yes you can, all that will happen is that the water will run cold, and it won't do the boiler any harm.
I'm more concerned about how long this person has been in you bathroom though?!
