w810 screen flashes black and white

i have done a search but found no answers on here.
when i turn this sony ericsson w810 on the screen flashes black and white. is there any way to sort this without taking it to the shop?

Might be that the firmware's become corrupted. You might be able to flash a new firmware, but doing that wrong could severely !!!! up your phone, so for peace of mind you might be better paying someone to flash it for you.

use SEUS to upgrade the firmware on the phone if its still in warranty(link)

or if that doesnt work, try using my debranding guide here. beware that if you flash the filesytem, you will loose all the files stored on the phones internal memory but you will not loose the files on the memory card if you remove it from the phone

i tried the seus but the update sticks at 95%
i think i will have to take it to the shop as your guide is way out of my league!
