I did a carboot a few weeks ago and made 100 pounds profit, sold everything cheaply. We had loads of clothes and sold most things for 1 pound each or 50p towards the end.

  • i would make sure EVERYTHING you sell is clean, and works properly.. and clearly priced (add in some haggle room!).

take some plastic bags, so people can carry stuff home easily, too- any fragile items wull need syutable packing, as well.

electrical stuff, gadgets, and dvd's seemed to sell well when i last did one.

oh yeah, and dont be hurried by professional tradersm who ponce as soon as you open your car door.. tell them to come back when set up- they may make a silly offer for something thats worth much more, but you may not be fully awake/aware a the time..
Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
