Hi Everyone!!
Good whoopsie hunts described on the thread today. Great to read them.
Mandy_ Moo_1-Sports Day went well. We had potatoes instead of eggs for the race, brilliant idea just in case the children dropped them. Last day tomorrow, going to really miss my class they've been lovely.
Yesterday got a lovely poem from a little girl which almost made me cry and today I got a basket with eggs, bacon and sausages (from another little girl who lives on a farm, so own produce) inside for a special breakfast..what a perfect present for a member of the GC thread.. free food.
SusiQ-Hope your Op goes well. Will be thinking of you.
angelnikki-You poor thing. I had a tooth removed a couple of years ago and after ages the dentist looked so stressed declaring it was the hardest tooth she'd ever removed (very reassuring). Was going to catch bus home afterwards but had to phone my sister for a lift-she said I was a poor old thing when she picked me up.
Have a good evening everyone!

Went to Lakeside today to buy a leaving present for someone in DH's department. Thought I'd pop into Mr T while I was there as I need some soft marg for baking. But it's being refurbished, so they had nothing there. I only spent 68p.Thanks to all the lovely people on here I have managed to cut my hours down to 2 days a week, allowing me to spend more time with my gorgeous Children. :j0

Thank you. :A'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'

toottifroott & debbiemc - Welcome!! :hello:
I went the Nando's after work as it was one of the girls last day today! £8.05 for a chicken breast in a pitta, chips and a soft drink  just think how many I could have made at home! I am not including this in the GC, which means it was a GC NSD :T I had left over friend rice & a cheese salad wrap for lunch - all HM and from the freezer!! Hubby had burger & chips for tea. He's getting the hang of this now, in the past he would have gone to the chippy if I wasn't home. Just got a shep pie out from freexer for tomorrows tea!0 -
Spent £35 on groceries today. (Plus stocked up on tights etc to make spend up to £50) Wanted to get the money off petrol at Mr Ts- hardly ever go there now but away on camps last weekend and coming weekend so cannot do my normal shop at LIDL and Aldi. Didn't need to spend this much but stocked up on favourite tins etc.
Realised later I should have picked up some treats for my form on the last day of term- so will have to brave shops again. Also we usually do an end of term department lunch-buffet where we all bring in nice food. Haven't decided what to do yet. Maybe breadsticks and houmus etc?
angelnikki glad you're feeling better- sounded awful

Hi everyone - been offline with computer probs. All OK now thanks to my lovely dd. I've done my first signature update, hope it works. Trying really hard not to spend, but I couldn't get everything I wanted in Asda so as I had to be in town for a group I meet up with (using bus pass) I popped into the local wholefood shop and got some bits and pieces there. Having quite a lot of nsd's this month - need them as everyone seems to want my money - vet, grandchildren (b'days) etc. Made the weetabix cake - oh wow! Ate 3 slices straight off, then sliced up the remainder and froze it. All gone now but I made it last about 5 days. This site is really keeping me going. Have had to take from savings to clear cur.acc overdraft this month but hopefully will be able to put this money back. Plan to just keep track of my groceries here, shan't include the dog as his food doesn't vary. Don't think I'll have to do normal fortnightly spend tomorrow - just f & v, yogs and cheese. And I have some pennies saved in a bottle. Will change these up at Asda and use the vouchers, unless anyone knows of a cheaper way of getting rid of coins. Asda charge 7.9 in the £.Dec GC £100/76.61/16.46/10.19 - £103.26
Jan GC £100/64.20/20.91 (£14.89 left)0
