OK its a link but it is in big bold letters at the bottom of the page. A fool and his money and all that!!

The thing to remember about EBay is they do not police the site we the users do...which is what is really annoying. Hope you reported it.

They stick it at the bottom though anf if you see 45 seconds to go and that price pop up you could easily bid without realising

It went for £332, so either the high bidder had no idea that it was a link, or (hopefully)this was a throwaway account used by a scambuster. The seller has another one for sale at the moment, and it is up to £21 and ends tomorrow afternoon.

I have just looked at his past auctions. He has recently sold 5 links, at a total cost of £1,532.99

How many people though would honestly bid without reading an auction? If there are 45 seconds to go I'd rather miss the bargain than risk something dodgy like excessive post and packing, dodgy terms or whatever in an auction.

I know people should read the small print, but I'm warning all the high bidders of this scam as I would want people to warn me!
Anymore that anyone finds, please post here or PM me an I will do my best to make the warning if Ebay won't

IMO if people don't read auctions thoroughly then they have no-one to blame but themselves. The seller only has 2 f/b....and p+p is free, these 2 facts alone would have stopped me from bidding without reading the auction.

I warned one guy and he still bid £342 for this auction - there's no telling some people

He could be a scambuster, I believe there are several who visit this forum.
