Hi Poppy.
Sorry must have been me, I didn't get the impression from the initial post that he'd threatened to remove the kids.
Under the circumstances then I understand your reaction. But you sitting there guarding them is not really a long term solution as I think you also realise. If solicitors are involved already then perhaps its time to talk to them about formalising contact and if he mentions it again if i were in your shoes I'd be looking for a Prohibited Steps Order against him.
If its any consolation what you are going through right now is perfectly normal. It does get better in time and soon you will wonder why the hell you've wasted so much time with him!
For now I'd concentrate on getting the finances sorted and then arranging it so you see as little of each other as possible. Whilst he's at your house and you are seeing each other still regularly, it will make moving on much harder.
Frankly it doesn't matter what the reason is that he gives for why he left. After he's had affair after affair, do you really trust the rubbish pouring out of his mouth??0 -
*hugs*
Poppy I know you dont trust him, but do you trust any of his family? Would he be able to take the boys or even DS1 out with another member of his family "supervising"? That way he feels hes getting them out and about and you have peace of mind?
what a berk telling lies though and leaving his son upset. id want to throttle him if I was you xx0
