Is that in a garden a bit off the beaten track?

No. It's on Blake St not far from the Minster. Tried to paste an image but it hasn't worked.

Hopefully mum will settle and sister will butt out. I remember wanting to send all my older teenagers away for National Service
I would have happily received them back once knocked into shape by some Regimental Sergeant Major somewhere...

Grrrr laptop close down mid long rambling post.
Last Thursday I started the stocktake. I went back on Saturday and was about 4 hours in when the laptop closed down with no warning and I hadn't saved it. I left at that point before anyone was murdered. Not that it was there fault but it was safer that way. I've been going in after work and doing a couple of hours and I'm back to where I was. OH and I are going in tomorrow to get it finished.
I've booked a couple of days off work but things aren't quite going to plan. Was hoping to go and feed the cupboards on Thursday morning but me car had a flat tyre. Phoned OH but he was too busy to come, so phoned the tyre peeps and they could only come sometime in the afternoon.
I tried to be productive, got the people who do my website to put some pictures up of the new look shop, weeded the raspberry bed, phoned a PR lady and talked about what we wanted and arranged a meeting for Monday. DD2 mowed the lawns and did the neighbours he paid her a tenner, she was well chuffed as she's saving up to go on holiday with her friend. Tyre chappy turned up in the afternoon and the alloy has gone again. It's been welded twice and isn't coping with the potholes. Bit the bullet and phoned Volvo to order a new one. Also phoned the council to tell them I was going to claim and what did I need to do. Will sort some of that on Monday.
The silver lining, if you can call it that is that my car was booked in for a service yesterday so it could all get sorted at once. The nice peeps in the garage dropped me and DD2 off in town. I had a mission to look at dresses suitable for a wedding and my nephews 21st. Went in all the 'posh' shops John Lewis, Fenwicks etc. Very disappointed with the ranges in M&S and BHS. Struck lucky with Jacques Vert in Debenhams but also remembered they have a discount place in our local Boundary Mill so will call in there.
Garage phoned to say car needed new brakes on front and back and new drums on the front, quoted an extortionate figure for the work, luckily I was sitting down enjoying my free cup of tea and cake in John Lewis', told them I'd get it sorted and phoned OH to get our friendly and considerable cheaper chappy onto it. Another phone call from garage to say alloy was in but the tyre was knackered and couldn't go back on. Need to get a new tyre today, which I hadn't planned on going out.
Going to start the puppies on food as Ds1 needs his dog back. not sure how useful she'll be as she hasn't worked for a few weeks. Must go and drag DD2 out of her pit and get my car sorted.
