Yes it was strange but very nice!!!!!! I'll certainly consider the option of going north and seeing a new part of Scotland. Must shift and get the chaps up. Got parents evening tonight.

My new to me hoover has arrived and I'll try not to kill it before Christmas. Mind you I was appalled at how much its sucked up considering I'd hoovered on Saturday, filthy house!!! Has been an absolutely gorgeous day here and OH remebered to peg the washing out.

We have booked a trade stall at a 3 day horsey event thats happening on the 23rd of July, we had to wait for confirmation of the trailer arriving and are going to take some lawnmowers and hopefully some childrens ride on toys. It will mean the the shop has to be closed on the Friday and Saturday as our cover is away on holibobs and I can't get that day off. I must say I'm quite excited by this and can't believe it was something happening under our noses and it took somebody else to point it out to us. Also I could leaflet all the riding schools and livery yards as well. Doh!! Should've thought of this sooner.

Debt busting still happening but slowly. Very, very squeaky week this week.

Yay to the new hoover! sounds like it is working well!

Good luck for the horse show. It will enable lots of people to hear about you and find out where your shop is even if sales are slow. Are you selling the horse trailer or hiring it out? It is possible to hire them on a daily basis down here for about £50.

Keep up the good debt busting :)

The trailer is for sale as its brand spanking new but aim to buy a few secondhand ones, give them a service and they could be for hire. It doesn't give us much time to get organised but we work better under pressure.

Good luck with the horse show - nothing to lose and everything to gain

Make sure you put a sign up at the shop in advance to say you are going to be there, and a sign on the door on the day telling any customers who turn up that you are at the show and that they should come and visit you there.

Gosh thought I was having chest pains earlier until I realised it was my wire escaping from my boulder holder. Couldn't be bothered to change so am a bit lopsided at the mo. I made 10 lemon drizzle cakes last night, 2 for scouts, 1 went to work and 2 have been left out to munch and the rest have gone in the freezer. Have also made some pretty crap soup, its quite bland and not sure what to put in it to 'pep' it up a bit. Have made a meringue for tomorrow night. My sister and new boyfriend are coming to stay and currently sister is veggie so struggling to come up with a menu, though she will eat fish. Thinking along the lines of a tuna pasta type thing with Pavlova for pud.

OH has been paid and things are really squeaky bum time. Managed a minimum payt to my card but got to find £49 for another, child benefit is in on Monday so I can use that. It doesn't leave much for fuel or food. I get paid on Wednesday so that'll help. Really am struggling with the debt and feeling quite envious of the euro millions winners. Summer hols are fast approaching and not much planned.

Currently have no children at the mo, 2 are at the school disco, 1 at a friends and the other hasn't arrived home from work, I'm presuming they must be silaging and he's helping. OH has also yet to put in an appearance but I knew he'd be late. Trying to avoid having a beer as its all the booze we've got and can't afford any more.

Aye just a wee tad envious of the lottery winners.
Mind you that is way wat too much for one family in my opinion,
    Hope all goes well tomorrow.
