I have an idea what the total is but I can squeeze a few more payments in yet. OH has been and bought a van. Can't say that I'm impressed but the business is paying for it. I was hoping we could compromise and get a king cab pick up (4 wheel drive then) but he has set his desires on it. The deed has been done and paid for. I worry, especially after last winter that he won't be able to get to work safely. He is in a huff with me because I didn't go wow great job! I think we'll have to agree to disagree.
Not much happening this weekend, Ds1 is beating tomorrow so I'll have to take him. Ds2 is hoping to go ferreting. DD2 is away at a sleepover and DD1 is probably going to help bake banana bread.

Enjoy your quietish weekend, and yes agreeing to disagree over the van might be the best thing to do!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Baked 6 banana breads. Sorted out the bookshelves in the dining room and had a good clean up. Made some mushroom soup with free mushrooms, bananas were also free. Otherwise not much else happening.

Oh and I are off to play badminton later, courts booked for 11. The chaps can go swimming. Whizz home quick dinner then its the remembrance parade, as scouts they have to attend. Honestly the amount of moaning about going you'd think I'd asked them to chop their arms off.
Discovered 2 leaks under the sink last night, another job for OH when he gets up.

Oh hi there - yeah I do both beaten up and also whole - but both ways out of the shell - hold on this very badly written but fun link will explain it better..........
If they are beaten you can use them like any kind of beaten egg
If they aren't beaten - once frozen they don't beat well - the yolk goes a bit viscious - but they do make a fine fried or poached egg - I froze a few to try and worked out I could do both mixed and non-mixed - I keep them in a zip bag in the freezer once I've frozen them

You can use frozen separated egg yolks for homemade custard which is to die for.
