Took DS2 and DD2 into town as she's had New Look voucher from her birthday to spend. She got a nice black dress. We went into M&S and got a meal deal for OH and I tonight and I treated the chaps to a posh pud.

Had a lovely night last night and got a bit squiffy but woke up feeling fine. Have finally managed to get our bedding washed and its in the TD, will get the boys done tomorrow. Just took the hound for a walk trying to undo some of the damage done.

M&S meal was really scrummy. Put on 0.5lb at fat class but it was deserved. How's this for strange, tried on a pair of jeans 2 sizes smaller than I am at the mo, I could get them on and the button done up. Tried on a pair of M&S jeans the next size down and they were really tight. I would love to be an M&S size 14. That's where I'm aiming for.

Finally got a washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher working. A friend has given us a mahoosive tv, recordable dvd player, cinema system, Oh has managde to get all the wiring in and believe me its like spaghetti junction round the back, a picture nut no sound. Had the chap out today and its got him bamboozeled.

Had my horsey fix and had a lesson today. Throughly enjoyed it even though I was on the slowest nag in history. Apparently we are having a lesson with no stirrups next week. Ooooh my poor lady garden absolute agony!

DD1 has returned from her jollies, think she's had a good time. Her friend was a little naughty as she told her she wasn't her first choice, then DD asked her if she regretted it and her friend said maybe! Luckily DD1 brushed it off and got on with enjoying herself.

Work is very trying at the mo, as the computers aren't behaving and the outside help is scratching their heads as they aren't too sure either.

DS1 has got a conditional place at college depending on his grades. Still doesn't seem to have got his act together. Payday next week.

Falling off is what I'm afraid of. Can manage to walk this morning but its usually tomorrow when I'm in more pain.

I remind myself that taking into account the many (very many) times I have fallen off over the years I have only really hurt myself a couple of times... it's usually more my dignity thats hurt !!!! LOL

I haven't ridden since June .....your making me think that staying on will be just as painful afterwards!! I am tempted to put a saddle back on GG1 and try to ride her without shoes. I can do rides with no roadwork where she is and it seems silly to pay £70 every 6 weeks if I only ride once a week. To be honest I'm a fair weather rider and usually hibernate in winter !!

Hope the offer is what's needed for your son to start going for it in earnest. Ouch to the after effects of your ride. Great to get so much given by your friend, but i hope the sound is working now. Roll on payday and lets hope your offer on the house is accepted soon. It's good all your white goods are working. I have to try to get a repair to a w/m sorted now. I'm procrastinating....
