Been for weigh in and have put half a pound on. Probably deserved as I haven't tracked this week but been incredibly hungry. DS2 has come home with great results for his SATs not that I really rate them but as a reward he has been allowed Face book which he is well chuffed with. DD1 (I hate her at the mo, in a nice way) has been invited to go on holiday with one of her friends to Turkey. We have said yes so the pressure is on to pay for DS2s ski trip, passport, spends, her spends and a contribution towards the holiday even though they have said they will pay for it.

This has made me think about our lifestyle and I'm a bit down about it. I have decided that come September we are going to book an all inclusive for next year. DS1 will be 16 and he hasn't been abroad with us since he was tiny. Hope we are doing the right thing as the money could be put towards the debt. The other (horrible way) of looking at it, that I won't have the old boy come September and his money can go towards it. I've had the farrier out today and he's pulled a tendon, which means rest.

Booked myself in to have my eyebrows waxed on Thursday and hopefully we'll book a holiday then. Next Wednesday I'm having a facial and then on the Thursday I'm havind my hair done. OH got me a beauty voucher for Christmas so I thought I would go and have a chillax before the chaps break up for summer hols.

Vicitimn support have phoned to tell me what DS1 is getting in compensation. Will have to decide if we are going to settle for this and then fill in the paprerwork. Environmental health have also been on regarding the damp, so hopefully things moving.

DD1 has had a most excellent parents evening. Going to have to expand the door frames just to get her head through!!!

Taxi, thanks for the support re holiday it does feel very 'naughty' to be even thinking of it. Hopefully it will be paid for before we even go, including passes to any theme parks etc. So in theory all we'll need is spending money, few new clothes (hopefully tiny ones for me) and 4 passports!

Hi Lucielle - I think you are making the right decision with regard to the holiday. We are having a cottage in Wales this year but hope to go abroad next year too.

You all work very hard - I think it is fair enough to ease off the pressure a little. Long haulers need some treats along the way

Where are you going? I'm sure a break will be just the thing to set you all up and allow renewed debt busting with vigour afterwards.
