Hey great loss of lbs and well done on saving for the oil bill.

I hope the payrise goes according to plan - fingers crossed - nice to be home and catch up with all the stuff.

:) my chilblains are AWOL until 15th August - so no food shopping for me - nor anything resembling supermarket splurges until they are home - I hope I remember.

Oh yeah except tonight I went shopping for food (whoops)!!

Visitors coming on Sunday - first time I've had 'non' mse pals since living here - must get organised and use up bits in the freezer - we've a tonne of seafood to use up (guess it cos of where I live?) so hopefully if I can scam enough reduced bread out the freezer and milk etc we might be OK.

Feel like I should get in a pile of treats - but they are mightily double incomed, 3 boys (ALL TEENAGERS) and usually come prepared - they know the level of my skintness and they are lovely - I'll provide delights from the freezer I hope and wing it through the rest. Should be a giggle though - think they are with us for 5 days.

Sorry to hear ebay things a bit slow - time of year? (eg folks thinking holidays?)

Thanks for posting guys. Still can't believe how I managed it. Day off today and going with OH to osteopath, still can't spell that word. We're also going to the cash and carry and probably Asda. All going to go on the credit card. This will be paid off, before the next payment is due (hopefully).

    Hi L,
Glad your weight loss is going so well. How are your horses? Did you actually sell one or have you still got them both?

Verbatim, Sold the young one and still got the veteran for now.

Well life is never dull here. Mad gunman on the loose and children kept in school!!! Managed to get DS1 home as he's at a different school, other 3 still at school under armed police protection (whole school not just my chaps). Friends are holed up in village cafe (best place to be methinks). Still not sure if they've captured him, hope so.

Still not caught the madman. Chaps should be going to school, no message from school to say if they are closed. Shattered today, didn't sleep very well and OH was up at 3.30 to go to work. It doesn't help that on a Tuesday night the army on the ranges practice live firings and that makes all the windows rattle! Mind you they might've had a live target to go for! Off to find some matchsticks.
