Hello peeps, hope everybody is well in diaryland. Everybody has got a clean bill of health for their teeth. Been to the secondhand book place and got another stash of books, we use it like a library and have an account with them. DD1 was very pleased as she was moaning she had nothing to read. DS1 purchased a shooting mag (with his own money) as he has got his picture in it. Got a sack of dog food and a sack of hen food. Also purchased a new hole punch as the other one was driving me mad as it had no bottom on it and left snowflakes all over.
The only thing I have done off the list today is to phone the tax office regarding the rebate. Hopefully the next couple of weeks it will be released.
Car has cost £150.11 which has had to go on a credit card as there isn't enough in the pot. Also still got to get a quote for OHs car ins.
Spag bol for tea.

Trouble is only one of them is a book addict like me. I have been really naughty and not done any work towards my NVQ. I should really get it done as I can count the hours I work at home on my time sheet. OH is counting down the days till he is off next week and I'm dreading going back.
It's not long till I have been there for a year, can't believe how the time flies. I remember listening to my mum saying how quick the year has gone and thinking its yonks till Christmas, but I really know what she means now. Especially when I think that this time next year DS1 could be nearly ready to leave school as I doubt he will stay to do A-levels. He seems to have knuckled down and has been doing his revision every day.
I turned the old boy out today naked (no rugs) so he could have a good roll and a scratch. He has a nice tree he can rub on. It's quite funny when I go down the lane to where his field is as the farmer has a heap of swedes which he is feeding to his livestock. If he hits the potholes right some of the swedes fall off and we can scrump them. I have perfected the art of stopping the car at the right place and nicking the swedes. Old horse thoroughly enjoys them.
Tomorrow its opticians day. I have to go into the city with the 2 youngest. They get to see an optician who specializes in dyslexia. It also means I can venture into Primarni. DD1 is moaning that she needs some new underwear so a trip to M&S for a measure will be required. Not that we have any money in the clothing pot but needs must. The biggest problem will be stopping Imelda Marcus (DD2) from falling in love with every pair of 6" stilettos she sees. Well I have rambled enough.
