2 tyres purchased for the sum of £94. Also discovered that part of my exhaust needs replacing which will be another £94. Booked the car in for next Tuesday to get that done as it wouldn't pass the MOT as it is. Car budget is looking severely depleted. OHs car insurance due in April and noticed today that my car tax is also due then as well. GREAT.
Old boy seemed a bit more settled tonight when I gave him his tea. I was a bit late getting down but easier now the nights are staying a bit lighter, not be long til the clocks change.
Managed to call in and see a friend who I've been promising to call in for ages. Said I would only stay 5 minutes as she was decorating but an hour and half later...........
Right off for a bath and get my barnett washed.

Lucielle, it might be worth getting the exhaust double checked at another place as my friend had an MOT and they said evrything was fine but advised 2 new tyres soon. As she had expected it to fail she took it to get the tyres straight away after the test. The tyre place changed the tyres and said that exhaust is dangerous you need a new one straight away or it will fail its MOT!!!:eek: They were a bit sheepish when she said funny that as ive just come from the MOT and they retracted it and said oh well maybe its alright for a few more weeks.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Actually the car does sound a bit like a V8 engine and we were warned last time that it might need attention.

Hi Luc just having a catch up. Glad things are looking more sorted for you with regard to the horses and hope it doesnt end up costing you much more.
I had such a lovely summer last year with mine, when we lost her in November I was shocked as really thought she was going well. In hindsight, she would never have managed this winter. Anyways, in a garbled way, what I am saying is that things happen for a reason and sort themselves out in the end. Whatever happens it will be for the best.
Hope you are managing some time to yourself xxxPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Penguin, I sort of know what you're saying but I still have this feeling of out of the frying pan into the fire..............
DD1 rode the old boy tonight, think he enjoyed getting out. Certainly enjoyed coming back in as his tea was waiting for him.
Meeting another friend for coffee tomorrow, really needed to do some extra hours to try and make up the shortfall but she needs some support right now, so more important.
Ebay shop is starting to pick up which is great, starting to average about £100 per week for OHs business. We really need to spend some time tweaking it here and there but we are like ships that pass in the night. OH announced he would probably be working Saturday night as well. Only another week of nights to do and then a brief chance of some sort of normality. Whatever that is.
Still not got my hoover back from its service. House is really needing a very deep deep clean. Bribed chaps to tidy bedrooms with some freebie sweets from work. Hope to see carpet for long enough to hoover when it eventually reappears.

Nothing exciting I'm afraid, its garden machinery, spark plugs and lawnmower belts. Not nice girly stuff I'm afraid.
