So another new horsey adventure begins. Old boy in new accommodation and my horse away to a new yard, sadly unsold and still costing money. Not sure how well this is going to work out but I was running out of time and stress levels were soaring. Hopefully some decent sleep will be had now.

Changed my day off for tomorrow as my puter was required at work just not me. Going to be a long week as I normally have Thursday off. Got to get DS2s brace tomorrow and then take DD2 for her dyslexic lesson and get 2 new tyres put on the car. It should be ready to book in for its MOT and see what they find.

Made Jambalaya for tea, not had that for ages so it made a nice change, got some left for dinners during the week. Also made 9 orange drizzle cakes on Saturday, 2 have already been munched so must be ok. Spending has gone a bit bonkers this week so need to keep a beady eye on it. Might end up running on fumes towards the end of the week.

Have done all the paperwrok for the VAT return just not got round to filling it in.

What's jambalaya? hope the horses work out and don't end up costing you too much.
Enjoy your day off, in between dyslexing, bracing and tyring.

Its a Cajun dish that uses up cooked leftover meat, with rice and veggies. Yummy and filling.

I know the feeling about money running away sometimes

Glad you had a good mothers day and I agree with Pips Mum I sometimes feel like you run around doing the equivalent of a marathon each day!

Old boy not sure and neighing for his chum. Mine got lunged and ridden last night, probably much to his disgust.

Brace collected and photo printed off at Boots as required for DS1s paperwork for Victimn Support. Still got the joy of completeing that form. Off shortly to get DD2 and do the tyres.
