Oh L holes in buckets and wellies not great - do you find hte paper log things work good? I've never had much luck with them.
Glad you got the tyres sorted - and some nag food - lol to horses chewing through baler twine!
We've a lidls - I keep forgetting about going there as they never do reduced stuff - but I must make the effort as they do alot of great stuff - although I'm so over my food budget this month - January = cold and wet so I eat or I shop anyway!
Well done on the over payments - hope you're tax comes back pronto - they take it quick enough.
Great the hens are laying again - I've had a disaster with one of mine today (I think she's going to need buried - got by a cat then slept out all night in the snow) - i've wrapped her up and put her somewhere warm to see if she might recover- but tbh - I think she's passed over into the big hen house in the sky.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Hi Lucielle, sounds like youve been busy with tryres and horses etc. My chucks have decided to lay again at long last, must be the dark mornings and horrible weather enough to put them off I suppose.
Hope the snow has gone too, very windy here today and the rain has passed so the sun is trying to shine.
Fay chickens are funny things sometimes they do recover one of mine I had was definitely a gonner or so I thought after a morning in a box of straw she was fine so good luck.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Fay-paper bricks are ok. I do struggle to get them dry but I have put a cooling rack on top of the stove and dry them that way. As we had no summer to speak of I put them in the cold frame but that has had a hammering this winter and will probably not make it to summer. Sorry to hear about your chuck. 1 of our ducks got nabbed by the fox last year.
Turfy, a nice day here but very cold, especially with the wind. It did try to snow this morning until I said 'no way Jose'.
Paid another £180 off the card. HSBC now stands at £470. Challenge is now to pay it off before the tax comes back and that can be used for American Express. The way I shift those goal posts. Still it keeps me going.
Having Nasi Goreng for tea curtesy of Lidl. Managed to work my hours back up, as its payday next week.

Just done my online order for Asda, which came to £132, slightly over budget (£120) I blame the beer. Got a code for free delivery as well. That's due to land on Monday. We will eat for the next 2 weeks!!!
Having withdrawl symptons as I've just finished the book I was reading and it was excellent. OH got it me for Christmas 'Handle With Care' by Jodie Picoult. Nearly as good as 'My Sisters Keeper' which did bring a tear to my eye (well a few actually).
Got the books nearly up to date as the dreaded VAT return landed on the doorstep today. Things have been quiet but they are starting to slowly pick up.

I loved My Sisters Keeper. I will look out for the other one too if it is good. I am reading Paul Nicholls (racehorse trainer) autobigraphy at the minute. That would be my dream job!
Hope the snow stays away, we had a fairly heavy downpour of it yesterday but it didnt stick thank god, the looks of horror on everyones faces in the office when they envisaged a weekend stuck in work was enough to scare it off I think!
Hope you and family are well xxxPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000
