At the end of the day there will be other horses (keeps a stiff upper lip typing this). I have to fill in the paperwork, of which there is Everest quantities of it for the bursary. Probably a job for the weekend as I am knackered at the mo. Managed 8 hours today, trying to catch up with the snow leave. Saw OH for 15 mins before he left for work.

Possibly consider a long term loan maybe but I would still have to look after the old boy. Mind you in summer he is fairly cheap to keep and I have reduced the costs dramatically last year, getting them nearer to home.

Other debt busting news British Gas a re lowering my DD from £82 to £45 per month. We were in arrears and it has taken ages to pay back. Give it a couple of months and then I'll shop around. Next months council tax payment is going in the car fund as we have 2 MOTs in the space of 2 months. OH managed to do the brakes at the weekend (and they work) so cancelled the garage appointment.

Had sausage casserole for tea cooked in the slow cooker. OH is doing turkey stir fry tomorrow night, which is yum.

Won £20 on the scratchies so have withdrawn that. Long day at work. OH has left for work. Nothing planned for tonight. That's about it.

Boys confined to barracks today as field resembles a sponge. Quick turn around this morning and then off to work.

Managed to pay £207 off the cards. Target card is now at £750.

OH had taken DS for his dental appointment. He has had to have a root canal filling and the rest of his brace has been taken off.

Going to complete the forms for the bursary this weekend.

Hope DS was ok at the dentists.
    Good luck with the form.
