Helllloooooooooooo. Had a lovely time away. B&B was a disappointing and need modernizing. The bedding was clean and we'll leave it at that. Managed to get some Christmas shopping done.

Highlight has to be sitting in a square in front of the theatre waiting for it to open. Glanced over and saw a grey haired chap and thought he looks familiar. Turned away and looked back and realized it was Billy Connolly ambling in. Poked OH in the ribs, thrust a pen and paper at him and yelled at him to get his autograph. Curses that I am so old fashioned and don't have a phone that takes pictures!!!

The show was great and my ribs were tender when we came out. Haven't done so much walking for ages. Afraid to say the credit card has had a bit of a hammering. Will look at that a bit later.

DS2s birthday today the grand old age of 11! Got him a couple of DS games whilst away. Came home from work and whizzed round making a birthday cake. The icing was being a right pain and wouldn't mix up right. It wasn't until I read the box I used and tasted it and found out I'd put self raising flour in insterad of icing sugar!!!!! Had to start all over again.

Area 1 delivered for Avon just 1 customer to catch up with, should get them tomorrow. Got a day off tomorrow going to see the nurse and have the dreaded smear test done. A necessary evil as I explained it to the children tonight. I honestly never know what to do with my knickers, elegantly drape them over the chair, stuff them in my pocket or fling them at the ceiling (pray they don't stick!) OH is shaking his head in dismay as I type this.

Must get the business paperwork up to date as the VAT return is due at the month end and then look at the finances. Hoping to feel full of get up and go not get and gone in the morning.

oooo-er missus, OH wouldn't know what to do with himself if I had any of those.........then again he probably would and I wouldn't get anything done!

Have finally got the plum jam bubbling on the cooker, hoping to get that bottled before I go to the docs. Made bacon butties for breakfast, I am a yummy mummy today! It's very overcast here and windy so debating whether to hang the washind out and then spend the rest of the day picking it up off then garden.

Been to the well woman clinic and its official, I am an apple, probably a Bramley! I need to do something about my weight. Feel sorry for the poor horse now I've been weighed!

Got to pick DD2 up for her dyslexic lesson soon. have spent the morning doing OHs books and a few other jobs that needed some attention, sadly the housework didn't get on the list. Still there's tomorrow.
