Unwanted phone calls
How can I stop unwanted phone calls coming through my mobile ? I've recently had a spare of cold call selling..........double glazing etc.
I always thought a mobile number was private to the owner......unlike house phones where the number can be found in the directory.

Thanks. Not heard of that. I'll check it out.
Just had a quick look and we're on the telephone preference service through BT for the house phone.....that seems to work. We still get the odd one but once I mention we went the property they lose interest.Mary

they get your mobile numbers from other companies who you have dealt with
maybe filling in a form online and the company then sell your number on.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
