Im going to work all my out tomorrow and update
I defnately went over my target, which is excellent i have paid some chunks of my debt off! :j
However im not feeling very confident about August at all as have nothing left to sell, it all went in July :think:0 -
I made it at last :j:j
Decided to count the money I've found on the street etc etc money box today and then I'll do the same at the end of each month (rather than for each Olympic Challenge as I've done before as I've been far more successful with these make £5 a day challenges, much more motivated - obviously have a short attention span )
So the total was £29.33 - I hadn't found all that on the street etc, some was on my desk and must have been money from things I sold before I moved but I don't know what and that was before the Olympic Challenges started so I counted it in this.
Anyway total is now: 159.45 :T
Fingers crossed for an as successful August - I'm away for a few days next week so but I've reduced my target to take account of that - good luck everyoneInitial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
Initial Mortgage free date - January 2058

Final update from me...
Did another MS today, for £5, but more importantly I finally sat down and sorted out my finances/accounts. The good news is that the vat man owes me (drumroll please) about £7,500!! There are some advantages to having a business go down the pan.
On the other hand I have just processed a pile of taxi receipts for over £1,000.
And the worst thing is that I don't *always* get a receipt, or always keep them. You remember that moment in SATC when Carrie realises that she's spent the equivalent of a deposit for a flat on shoes? The pile of receipts that I have just processed is the equivalent of 3 pairs of Manolo's. Some of them were necessary for heaving things across town, but most of them are just down to me not being organised enough to get the bus or walk into work (a whole 45 minute walk away).
Maybe I should try to aim for a no taxi month for August (or at least no more than one a week)Oct Challenges: Make £5 a day - £5.18/£155 Grocery Challenge - £0/£2000 -
Hello there, finished the month on £550.57 which I'm really pleased about. I hate the first of the month though starting again at £0 and wondering what on earth you are going to do to raise any money. Good luck for August!I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0

Hi there
Check out the freebies board for pigsback, the first few posts explain it. Mystery shopping is when you're employed to check out staff responses by the firms themselves - on here, look at the Boost Your Income guide.
Good luck.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
