    Mortgage-free Glee!
I'm all confused! I've been doing the grocery challenge and the make £10 a day challenge (although none of my listed "earnings" on that challenge are actually hard cash as yet) as well as making a conscious effort to cut down on spending and save some more. We've set ourselves a monthly target of what to save and for some weird reason we've managed to save nearly £1500 more than that this month! I thought we'd been doing well not frittering away money so much, but not that well!

I did get a bonus payment from work that was for £690 but that still means £900 saved elsewhere. Hoping this month is the start of things to come and we can keep up the momentum. I'll keep you posted.

Just have to give myself a wee quiet "toot toot" on the old trumpet. Hope you don't mind.

Won't declare this in my make £10 extra total as that challenge to me is just about getting extra income.
MFW Challenge (Tgt Date Nov 07): ACHIEVED FEB 07!
Mthly Savings (Tgt 60% of Inc): Average 41.67% (but we have just paid for a new kitchen!)
    Savings Goal £500k (Target Date 50th B'Day Nov 17): 30.41%

Been a funny old month - I've changed the way I "report" money for this challenge. I used to count everything as I did it, but now I'm counting it as I get the money/goods/vouchers, whatever. I started with bits and bobs, not tiny but nothing huge, but I was working really hard on the mystery shopping, and got £171 in one month! I've got quite a lot stored up to be validated and whatnot in quidco, about £100, and I've been pushing to get a spreadbet account thats discussed on the GIOL board here. I've now got it, and the account credit has been given to me. And thats £100! So I'm just off to update my signature.... :j

I'm rather annoyed with myself as I've done barely anything this month, I've had about 2 weeks where I've not made a penny, one because of working extra on my se stuff, the other cause I ended up in bed alll last weekend due to what I now know is an abscess on my tooth.

3p for me today :o did sell something on ebay but it's not been paid for yet, hoping for a little flurry of money luck today but if not I've not quite managed my target or the £310, boo!

I WILL do better next month :D

£24.50 ish came through from globaltestmarket today and £10 pigsback!! Really got to get cracking or august though as I really want to upgrade from £5 to £10 per day so that I can pay my rent and have some money for uni!! I am at least sort of close on more pigsback vouchers on mine and my boyfriends accounts though, so that will help a tiny bit!! Just need to get myself onto ebay/slicethepie to get my paypal account up to £50 from about £35 so that I can withdraw fee free!!! Really glad to see how well everyone's doing though :j I can't help feeling that we really need another thing like teh free b!ngo to come round again!
