  • Hi there,

I know July isn't over but I'm wrapping up my challenge as I didn't do very well and I'm getting ready for my trip to London.

So my grand total for july was just £50 made up of

    £30 selling some cat food
    £18 bingo winnings
    £2 expenses

I will include my pig savings in with August as I think there is only £4 in there, I had to empty it to pay for the window cleaner this morning.

Anyway, everyone has done really well in July and there are some fab totals so well done to you all :T .

See you in August when I get back from my trip.

Well, July has been a weird month for me. Started well, with a few mystery shops, then went deadly quiet and then last week I got all the money for the shops I'd been slogging midJune - midJuly - nearly £200! Then quiet again. And this week, I've hit quidco - switched my fuel, so got dual fuel payout, and just done the Abel & Cole thing too. Not counting them yet, because neither is in my hot little hand, but I *am* working on it all. Don't think I'm quite going to hit the target, and the mystery shops seem to have gone a bit dead at the mo, but the matched betting will start up again soon, so I'm still hopeful for August.

Just looking back at the last few days posts is good - people are working hard!

Should be another 3 shared journeys to work this week (£6) and I got another £6.75 from ebay.

Total now stands at £150.55 against my target of £155, so I'm just a bit short but still a good effort for my first month.

I won't be taking part in August's challenge as I will be on holiday for part of the month and I wouldn't be able to do much. I'll be seeing you in September!

It's been a quiet few days for me on this challenge, £1.50 on one MS job, £5 on another (which probably all went on petrol, but I got to buy something that I will get reimbursed for that I can stick on ebay) £2 on an ebay sale and £8 on an amazon sale.

And then I tackled a load of unopened envelopes...

Oooooh looky, I won on the premium bonds!! Only £50, but what the heck, it all counts.

Oh and I found 1p on the street and 20p in a vending machine :)

    :hello:

Everyone is doing really well these last few days :)
I long since gave up hope on July and have been focusing on the August challenge. I've got at least 2 car boots planned, have put some stuff for sale in the free ads in local paper and am hunting around for ebay/amazon sales.

The money is now going to go towards our family holiday for next year- which I booked today for £99 deposit. (we're all mega excited! :D ). So I am going to use the money for that, as the rest of the deposit is due 15/10/08.

    :D

EEEWWWW.... only 3 days to go to start the new challenge! :D
