HBOS Charity Cards Question
I am looking to apply for an HBOS Affinity card (e.g. Macmillan) for 9 months 0% on BTs and purchases. In the T&C it says that the BT cannot be for paying off loans, into bank accounts or other HBOS cards. However, it appears that they do credit card cheques fee free during the introductory period. This surely gets around…

Is my stoozing coming to an end? Can I stop it?
My wife and I have had a couple of stoozing cards for a couple of years now. We started off with 2 Virgin cards and got around 12k between us and it's been sat in our offset mortgage making us a bundle, thanks very much! Thanks to the old minimum payment of a fiver on MBNA-backed cards our £12k hardly dropped over…

HSBC dropped me in it
Those crazy people. I've had an HSBC current account for donkeys of years. I've also had a credit card for a while and recently a loan. The only reason I kept with them was because they didn't feel the need to share my details with Experian and the like. Now I see they've dropped me right in it, and all my dealings show up…

Thinking of Stoozing
Hi, i've been lurking around these boards for a while now, and the term "Stoozing keeps coming up". I've had a read of some of the posts in this "Stooze Section". But i still don't fully understand it. Is this the basic principle? You get a 0% Credit Card for x amount of months, and you invest it in some kind of savings…

Mule

I had my anniversary month in March and I have my £10,000 limit safely tucked away earning me interest. new tesco card 0% until Jan 07
0% on spending and BT with 2% fee on BT up to max of 50 quid - worth a punt for spends. They offer money back on your interest payments or free points. The money back sounds ratehr a bogus offer to me but the points would be handy. http://www.tescofinance.com/personal/finance/finance/creditcards/index.jsp

Was a Card Tart but they don't want me back
I've made use of the info. Martin said about making the most of 0% offers on cards, but have found with Mint and Lloyds they won't let me have another card 6 months later when another offer is on. Can't understand why when I've paid off the previous balance within the time limit then cancelled the card. Has anyone else had…
