Hi, this is my first post, and I apologise if this has already been covered, but I couldn't find it..... I was talking to some people at work about their mortgages the other day, and was shocked to find they didn't know…

Mortgage Free by October 2021
I plan to be non mortgage debt free by 01/05/2008. Paying £1000 a month off our debts, after this I want to pay £1000 to our mortgage. We are on interest only at the moment but I think when we come to change it over in 2010 we'll go back to repayment, which for us is £770 per month. But if we stick to the interest only…

Urgent advice needed please!!!
I am very unhappy with unexpected charges for £3000 mortgage overpayment from C&G today. They have charged us a fee of £ 10.00 for the transaction. This fee apparently has been introduced by them since May 2008, but they did not make us aware about it in advance at all. What's more, there is nothing in our loan agreement…

Hi All, Just about to use some money we inherited (£30K) to pay off our mortgage. Tracker with Nationwide should I switch
to a fixed rate today? Can't decide whether to risk it and stick with the tracker or switch to the fixed at 5.78% for 3 years? Martin reckons the fixed rates will go up after today so we should reserve now if we want a decent fixed rate. Any opinions would be helpful Thanks
