Help repairing a blown amplifier please?
I have 3 blown amplifiers in my workshop at school, they are cambridge audio A1s i think. Boss said to bin them, but i hate chucking out things. Each amp has blown a channel, opened the cover hoping to see some charred components, but nothing! I have a very basic knowledge of electronics, but dont know where to start?

Sky + HDD upgrade
I have an Amstrad DRX180 Sky + box with the standard 40GB hdd. Am I correct to assume that to upgrade the hdd, it is simply a case of changing them over and then running the housekeeping option. Also can anybody recommend a hdd that is compatible with this unit. Thanks.

xp boot up checks hard drive every time
pc with 2 physical drives checks d: every time on boot up.( 80gig seagate ide abot 3/4 full) It also does a check when booted in to ubuntu. How to enlarge a picture?

Help connecting video and Sky to record.
Can anyone help with my connection problem? I think all the connections are correct (I checked on a great site). I can watch DVDs, Sky and videos, but cannot record from Sky. There's no Sky picture on the video input.
