What Is Visible...
...even if you're not logged in. This is something I've just noticed so apologies if it has been discussed in detail elsewhere (I couldn't find a thread). I've noticed that now anyone can click on a username and see what a poster is doing even if they're not logged on themselves. This also applies to their profile. I…

Issue with thumbnail images on News/Blog panel
I've recently noticed that the thrumbnail images on the News?Blog panel on the RHS only often show the top LH corner of a bigger image, rather than a small total image. e.g. This from the main page of the forums (but similar effects can be seen on any 'forum' page) But I see it does display correctly on say news article…

error in 'MSE News' link perhaps?
The 'Energy firms should be clearer about their profits, MPs say' article is linking back to itself rather than the new thread it says it it pointing to. Has this been forgotten? The appropriate discussion thread seems to have been set up : https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4726338 (Oh, and by the way, to…

Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms
If I click on the total replies count for a thread it brings up the "whos posted" window. if I then click on the post count next to the name , 9 times out of 10 I get " Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms". if I persist it will eventually bring up the contributions by that member. sort it out please

Accessibility / images.
Due to an act of god - lightning - I'm on mobile for the next bit - with sharply limited bandwidth till they fix my DSL. Hence, I've turned images off. I note that the 'post/thank/...' buttons at the bottom of posts have no alt-text - making them useless, as they do not appear. This may also affect those using screen…

Removal of competitions that have ended
There are only 2 active BGs on the comps board at the moment and with so much for them to do removal of old comps is being left by the way side. Obviously this is totally understandable as they have so much to do already so would it be possible to enable a member to have the same permissions as the BGs just to remove comps…

We're back!
We’re back up! The development team have worked wonders over the last 24 hours to complete our migration to our new servers and they are confident we can now take the MSE Forum out of read-only mode way ahead of our expected downtime. You may see slowness or associated issues during the day as we bed everything in. Just be…

Can we have a 'visiting London' sticky on the UK board please ?
Is there any chance of having a 'visiting London' sticky thread on the UK holidays and days out board ? I like to be helpful but seem to be replying to the same questions on London over and over again (where can I get discounts for sights, 2-4-1 offers, where to stay, how do oyster cards work, what should I see etc etc etc)

Food and recipes board...
Hi there I have a suggestion - that we should have a new section in the board especially for sharing food and recipes / cooking advice etc. I have noticed there is a lot of interest in different recipe and food ideas dotted about the board - some in old style money saving, some in moneysaving, some in special occasions...…

Has MSE gone American ?
Why are we going to experience downtime ? Why is the site not just down from 7pm Friday ? All seems a bit too American to me.

Competitions Board- Revamp
Can we have one sub board for Twitter competitions, one for Facebook and the main board for general online competitions? It gets annoying opening threads to find out you need Twitter/FB to enter (I know it's supposed to be in title but it doesn't always work). :)

Now we’ve got your attention, we’re looking for your thoughts and opinions! We’re starting work on a Forum redesign that we hope will improve the look, feel and the way you move around it, making it easier for you to find the information you’re looking for and, when you do, showing it clearly.
