Why doesn't the abuse controller receive PM's or emails?
I've been trying to contact the abuse controller of this site here Abuse Controller . But they have chosen not to receive PMs or emails. When you try to contact them it says you have to contact the Administrator. When I do that they have also chosen not to accept PMs or emails. What do we have to do? I have contacted a…

Cheap Batteries Ethical?
I noticed that in this weeks 'Martins Money Tips' email there was a link to cheap batteries. I understand that these batteries are a lot cheaper than the usual in store prices for disposable batteries but should we be encouraging people to buy disposables in the first place? Would it not make sense to at least put a note…

Restricting number of images and smillies in posts
Would it be possible to restrict the number of smillies and images that people put in a post? It is so annoying to see excessive and uneccesary amount of smillies. Four in any one post should be more than enough.

HotUKDeals - duplication in grabbit.
I'm fed up of seeing Hotukdeals posts just copied and posted on grabbit. I think most people these days check hotukdeals anyway. For some reason I see something on there then half an hour later exactly the same post appears on here. It's getting crazy. There's hardly ever an original post on grabbit. Hotukdeals has an RSS…

Martin, How old are you?
Martin are you still 34? It's not that I am suggesting you look older but I'm sure the 'who is martin' section on the front page has been displaying 34 as your age for a good couple of years now.

Swaps
Its a pity that users cant swap things online eg seeds. I (think I) understand the safety issues involved in this. Could there be some kind of escrow service developed to allow people to swap seeds or something?

SUGGESTION: MSE to review Ferry pricing
Dear MSE/Martin, I see that your travel section carries tips and price comparisons on pretty much every major type of transport, EXCEPT ferries. This is an area of the market with little or no competition, and frankly disgustingly high prices. Short crossings like Portsmouth/Southamption to the Isle of Wight are…

Top of the 'Useful Contacts' list
Following on from ayla261's thread 'Radio 1 mention', I thought I'd mention the article I spotted in the current (29 January) edition of Woman's Own magazine. There is an interesting article about credit, where they sort the facts from the fiction. At the end of the article is a list of 'Useful Contacts' for credit help.…

Help to find a particular thread
Please help! I consider myself to be quite good at searching the internet and various online sources, but I very rarely have success in searching this site for threads I know I have seen before. I'm looking for a Travel thread from about three months ago called something along the lines of "Must do's in New York". It is a…
