Repeated rejections in funding Atom fixed savings account
I have now tried to fund my Atom 1yr fixed account 4 times, from 2 different bank accounts. Each time the payment failed to arrive in Atom and the next day there is a return of the money to the donor current account. Is this a common problem before I bother to spend time chasing an app-based bank?

If you hold funds that are not accumulating, but pay a dividend e.g VUSA, what happens to your dividends if they are paid whilst your funds are sitting in the holding (custodian) part? I thought no transactions/activities are supposed to take part during this process?

Sort code mistakes
I know that in the past, banks didn't check if an account number and sort code matched the name on the account, but do all banks check for this kind of mistake now? So if you gave someone your name, account number and a slightly wrong sort code to make a payment to you, would it definitely be picked up and bounced back?
