FirstSave - any experiences
Looking at the savings table, and Firstsave seems to be at the top - 1.15% for a 2 year fixed bond. Not great, but nothing much better out there. I see they are part of the Bank of Nigeria. But are covered by the full FSCS. Any experience with them?

Where are you transferring your NS&I savings?
I have the proceeds from the sale of my house a few months ago earning 1.16% with NS&I until next week of course. Looks like my next best option is to open accounts with West Brom and Saga and put £85k in each. What's everyone else doing? (Looking for 'safe' savings rather than investments and prefer easy access)

Old accounts systematically being 'lost' by banks? (dormant passbook accounts)
Has anybody else know of this happening? Some years after my mother's death we discovered a passbook and statements for an account with many £thousands.
