iWEB doesnt hold this HSBC

Disappointed.   Just checking everything before applying for my iweb account ,  and the very fund  I was going to use as my main one , they dont seem to have .Didnt even bother checking earlier as  I could have sworn Ive seen loads of other people  on the forums  that use iweb  mentioning they have this   --   HSBC Global Strategy balanced Portfolio C Acc .  Glad Ive checked now, but  have I got it right   that  iweb only seem to offer  the HSBC  index funds  , the .13 charge ones? Have I missed something?

Yes, they only offer Global Strategy Balanced, so if you want a different flavour of Global Strategy you’ll have to go elsewhere.

I'm not sure if Iweb and Halifax share the same funds, however I can confirm its available on the Halifax Share Dealing platform.

Well they've let me hold other varieties of Global Strategy. I currently hold Cautious in lieu of a bond fund and these are the others I have to choose from:

From the inconsistent naming I'd say they've been added at different times.

Yes I can confirm your search term doesn't work because they have listed it without "Portfolio" in the name:

Ugh , so much  stuff to learn  and details to note  in order to get things right .  Many thanks , thats  good to know I can use  iweb anyway .

IWeb can be peculiar in the way it names funds. I would always use the drop down lists presented (fund manager -> fund) and not a manually entered search term
