S&S ISA Allocation (Slight Reprise)
Hi, I posted a potential S&S ISA fund allocation a while back and got some v useful answers. I wonder if you experts could cast your eye over this allocation and see if it appears diversified enough? Still too UK heavy? I've reduced the REITS allocation from 20%! ;-)

HSBC and Firstdirect Regular Saver Accounts Rate Drop
New accounts pay 1% from today (as flagged by a leak in an earlier thread). Guess my current 2.75% ones will be my last. Not worth the hassle for 1%.

Disappearing accounts
The list for the best easy access savings accounts seems to be completely different from when I looked at it 1-2 weeks ago. Does anyone know- is this due to the accounts being withdrawn (perhaps due having enough subscribers) or the interest rates dropping?

Investing for niece
I want to start a long term investment for my niece and given she's 10 it has plenty of time to grow and take on some risk. Is there any real benefit to starting a child/junior stocks and shares ISA as opposed to me simply including her money within my own ISA and then gifting it to her when I see fit. It would only be a…

Personal Savings Allowance question
Hi, my basic salary puts me in the higher rate tax bracket; however, I have recently started contributing a large proportion of my salary into my pension (I have a pension through my employer) which has reduced my taxable income so that I am now in the basic rate tax bracket and no longer paying higher rate tax. So what I…
