New accounts pay 1% from today (as flagged by a leak in an earlier thread).
Guess my current 2.75% ones will be my last. Not worth the hassle for 1%.

I think that it will be goodbye FD next September.......probably keep HSBC account (although not bother with renewing RS next year) as I've had it for longer than I care to remember...0

24th November 2020 may well go down in history as one of the worst days ever for UK savers! This takes into account all the massive NS&I cuts to both their variable and fixed interest rates plus the severe cut in the regular saver rates for HSBC and First Direct plus possibly other interest rate reductions today that I'm not presently aware of.0
