If you had 50k to invest?
What would be the best place to put it? I wouldn't want any risk, would rather a lower interest rate and no risk. Also what options would there be for access? Not sure I'd need instant access, but certainly wouldn't want it tied up for years. Thanks for any suggestions.

What's the £50K investment FSCS protection limit?
Hello, I was reading in the FSCS site that: And then in one MoneySavingExpert article: I was thinking that if you invest and a firm goes bust, you were going to lose all your money, hence the risk of investing. Is this not the case? When would you lose your money and when would you be covered upto this £50K limit? I don't…

Hi, I used to deal with sharecentre who had bulk dealing at good spreads and very cheap commission once a day but they don't do it any more. Equiniti seems like a good option but are there any good, more reputable, firms ? Thanks.

Best children's account for non-cash bare trust (grandparents control)
I've finally been able to convince my parents that if they want to put some money aside for my son, then cash is not king! Now I'm looking for a non-cash way where my son's grandparents can put some money aside every month in his name, but under their control until he is 16/18. Any ideas?

Coventry BS
As regulars will know, this BS offers very good rates and has good customer service. If I go with them to get nest year's ISA, I shall be well under the £85k limit in total, but will have the bulk of my savings with them. Does anyone think this is likely to be a problem?

Which Fund Manager and Funds?
Hi, Ok, so I have decided to take the plunge and invest my money in a Stock & Shares ISA.
