Best place for my money?
Hi everyone Myself and my wife (both aged 40) are the sole Directors of a cash-rich Ltd. company with around £200k in shares. Topping up funds?
Hi all, Not sure if any of you have read any of my posts previously, but you can probably tell I am unsure of my investment strategy going forward and as a newish investor I put aside part of my ISA a couple of years ago to learn the ropes in a S&S. How secure are building societies?
Obviously, the downgrading of Santander has raised questions about the security of banks both internationally and in Britain. However, I was wondering how building societies in the UK are placed to weather any global financial storms. Are they as exposed as banks, and if not then are they a more secure option for savings?…

Zopa (and other p2p lending)
So I was looking to find somewhere to invest that gave a better return than a savings account but lower risk than stocks and shares. I heard about zopa and a friend in work so they had used it and it was ok. I have done a little reading and it sounds fairly good, as long as you want to invest for 3 years +. So I was…

Santander shares
Hello everyone.... Just over a year ago I decided to invest quite a few thousand pounds in a Santander balanced portfolio. The price of each share was about £2 - I got a bit scare a couple of months ago because after a year the value of the portfolio had gone down but was advised to stick with it by the Santander…
