Hello everyone....:beer: Just over a year ago I decided to invest quite a few thousand pounds in a Santander balanced portfolio. The price of each share was about £2 - I got a bit scare a couple of months ago because after a year the value of the portfolio had gone down but was advised to stick with it by the Santander financial adviser and think long term. I didn't feel entirely convinced but but hoped for the best. However, today the share price has plunged to £1.28.....
did I do the wrong thing? Do you think I was badly advised...?

Are you sure of your figures? According to here the fund is at 1.28 now but has only dropped by 3% in the past year. Its performance looks about what one would expect for a balanced fund under current circumstances.

PS its a Fund, not a Share.
