£10,000 to save?
Hi all, I have £10,000 that I want to save towards my house fund. I've done a bit of research but wanted to ask a few questions on here. I know my first port of call should be an ISA, can I invest the whole £10,000 into an ISA? I know that I'll get a better rate if I put the money into an ISA that is bonded over a number…

Inflation Inflation Inflation
Well there we have it 4% inflation and the mpc knew about this last week so no raise on the horizon! Good for tracker mortgages very bad for savers. Think this next 3 years are going to be tough for savers as the band of englands remit has changed dramaticly. 4% is the new 2% :money:

A disclaimer is all very well, but...
I invested my medium term savings with Whiteway Laidlaw Bank last year after seeing them top your lists. Within a week of me opening an account they cut their interest rates to next to nothing, and required 60 days notice to close the account. Additionally they charge a £20 fee to transfer the money to another account…

Do Hargreaves Lansdown have any US Index Tracker Funds?
I can't see any when I select the North America sector under funds. They have ETFs, but I'd prefer a fund as they charge to keep an ETF in an ISA. Cheers

Savings Account
Can anyone recommend me a good savings account. I work in a minimum wage, hourly rate job, and have no savings at the moment. How much I can invest depends on how much I work in the month.
