Millionaires in Scotland - is there a list?

There didn't seem to be a completely right place to put this so apologies if it's deemed to be on the wrong board.

Is there a list of everyone who is a millionaire in Scotland? I've come across a list of the top 25 people but I'm looking for wider info.

What about Sir Robert McAlpine? Unless of course he is a Tax Exile. I must remember to look at the postmark on his card next Christmas.

Maybe, but I think there's a bit of German and Greek in there somewhere.

This would be rather private information so I'm not surprised it's not public knowledge!

Anyway, how do you define millionaire? There will be plenty of people with £1m in assets (e.g. inc house), but fewer with £1m in ready cash. Many millionaires will splash less cash than those with less. (Maybe that's why they're millionaires...?)

I was under the impression there was a 'rich list' of millionaire businessmen but perhaps that's only for the rich and famous.

The Sunday Times used to publish a rich list. Still - it only had the top couple of hundred and was nowhere near complete. Also, since the Times put up the online paywall, I doubt it's available for free.

Anyway, for very good reasons most Scottish millionaires wouldn't make it onto the list and are no doubt happy of the fact :rotfl:
