Best options to save
Morning all. I am seriously thinking of cashing in my endowment policies to pay off debts. This would leave us near enough debt free. The endowments are no longer linked to my mortgage and I was using them as a savings/pension plan. So my question is, with the money we have been paying into these endowments, we plan to put…

Hang on to Santander Shares?
Hi I've just inherited 100 Banco Santander Shares and the solicitors have asked for instructions on what I want to do - hang on to them or sell. Think current value is about £1000. Never had any shares before - would it be a good idea to hold on to them just now given that I probably don't need access to the £1000 right…

RBS Shares - Should I buy ?
RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) shares are now 29.4p, would this be a good time to buy with a long tern view of them going up and therefore a good investment (Long Term), or would this be a bad move as they could fall further ?. I can't see them getting much lower, but I am open to advice and suggestions.

I’ve been to a couple of banks enquiring about investing the money for income – both have come back and said FSA rules don’t allow them to help me due to my circimstances, apart from savings accounts. So, what should I do? TIA

No risk stable investment
I have an older relative who has a reasonable amount (20k Plus) to invest. He is looking to invest 2 years plus and does not need immediate access to it. His main concern is that the capital must , absolutely, be guaranteed and not put at any risk. So a simple investment with a reasonable fixed % return would be adequate.…
